Colleen started Together in Movement in 2016 to provide affordable occupational therapy services and movement opportunities to her community. Colleen has over 10 years of experience working with people with disabilities.  She has experience working with clients ages birth through adulthood who exhibit difficulties in motor skills, visual skills, social skills and sensory processing difficulties.

Colleen's brother was diagnosed with Autism when she was 7 and since then she has been active in the special education world. Her goal has always been simple: to provide excellent services at little to no cost to families.

 

Colleen earned her B.S. in Hearing and Speech Sciences and her M.S. in Occupational Therapy. She also received a massage therapy certificate from the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy. She has conducted research on the relationship between sensory processing and anxiety. She has presented at MAOT, AOTA and AOTA Student Conclave. She received the Majorie B Green Award for her outstanding leadership and dedication to the profession from Tufts University.
